Announcing : The "Soft" Launch of ResponsibeMarkets.org

I am very excited to now be implementing a "soft" launch of our new website platform.  At this stage we are building our community before we "hard" launch to the general public through many channels.  The goal is to have a robust community already established on this site when the public first sees it.  Please join in and contribute to the growing community and conversation!

This site was created following our 2 previous Forest Markets Policy and Practice Conferences in 2008 and 2009, Our organizer steering committe identified a need for a centralized resource related to the sustainable sourcing and sale of wood and wood products. We saw an opportunity to extend our mutual missions and goals beyond live events by creating an online community that could share information and resources beyond the limitations of conferences.  This site is now that vision manifest. 

The site will also be able to provide a comprehensive platform for managing live event management into the future outside of China, and thus be seamlessly integrating our live events planning, registration and promotions with the online community of interest and practice we are growing here.
